TIME SHIP (1)
2024, metal structures, aluminum, 200 x 100 cm
Work "Intervention/Resistance" (2x11m) will be made using bituminous resin on aluminum sheets. Special prefabricated aluminum structures were used for the work. Aluminum itself works as a direct mirror and forms a metaphorical hull of the Time ship on which we, contemporaries, travel.
Intervention as a part of our life, as a habitual process in nature, implies resistance to it. This is both a characteristic feature of our mentality and nature's response to changes in established ecosystems. Resistance, in my opinion, gives rise to development, self-improvement and is a response to destruction.
